Cuddly Companions Terms of Service What This Applies To These Terms of Service apply to all Cuddly Companions products and services, including but not limited to: Fairies, Parrots and future companions CC Farms, Seeds, Fertilizer, Potion Farms and related farming systems Home Crystals Wells Scanners Sanctums Altars Potions Accessories The CC Merchant Any web services, APIs, websites, dashboards, leaderboards, or online services operated by Cuddly Companions. By purchasing, receiving, using, rezzing, wearing, interacting with, gifting, or reselling any Cuddly Companions product, you agree to these Terms of Service. 1. Living Online Service Cuddly Companions is an evolving online ecosystem. Many products now communicate with official Cuddly Companions web services to provide features including: Harvest tracking Deliveries Leaderboards Anti-duplication protection Customer management Security verification Gameplay balancing Live events These services are part of normal operation. Features, mechanics, balances, rewards, APIs and gameplay may change over time to improve stability, security and player experience. Continued use of the products constitutes acceptance of these changes. 2. Product Support Released products are intended to be stable, long-term products. Updates may be released to: Improve reliability Fix bugs Add new gameplay Improve security Improve website services Improve delivery systems Prevent exploits Maintain game balance Whenever reasonably possible, updates are designed to remain compatible with previously released products. Some products may be marked BETA and may receive more frequent changes during testing. 2.1 Online Features Some products require communication with official Cuddly Companions servers. These features may include: Harvest processing Item deliveries Online leaderboards Monthly competitions Customer verification Farm progression Merchant functionality Account security Future online gameplay If these services become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, hosting issues, Internet outages, or Second Life service interruptions, online functionality may be delayed until service resumes. Offline functionality may continue where applicable. 2.2 Service Availability While every effort is made to keep services available, Cuddly Companions cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of: HTTP services APIs Databases Delivery systems Dashboards Websites Third-party hosting providers Discord Temporary outages, maintenance windows, or emergency updates may occasionally occur. 2.3 No Refunds All purchases are final. Because Cuddly Companions products are digital, transferable, and contain online functionality, refunds are not offered under any circumstances, including but not limited to: Change of mind Accidental purchases Misunderstanding product functionality Future balance changes Gameplay updates Feature additions or removals Temporary website outages Server maintenance Bugs Second Life issues Linden Lab outages Inventory loss Internet connection issues Reduced resale value Discontinued features Purchasing or receiving a product indicates acceptance of this policy. 3. Trading, Gifting & Resale Unless specifically stated otherwise, you may: Gift products Resell products Set your own resale prices Include products in auctions Bundle products Transfer ownership through Second Life You may not: Copy scripts Modify protected scripts Extract textures Extract sounds Extract animations Reverse engineer systems Circumvent creator protections Recreate Cuddly Companions mechanics Sell modified products as official releases Creator protections exist to preserve authenticity, compatibility and gameplay integrity. 4. Acceptable Use Users agree not to: Exploit game mechanics Attempt duplication Bypass cooldowns Manipulate online APIs Spoof HTTP requests Interfere with deliveries Attempt unauthorized access to online systems Abuse websites or dashboards Interfere with leaderboards Automate gameplay beyond intended mechanics Harass other players using Cuddly Companions systems Attempting to compromise online services may result in permanent exclusion from online features. 5. Ownership All intellectual property remains the exclusive property of Cally and Cuddly Companions. This includes: Scripts APIs Web services Databases Websites Artwork Models Textures Sounds Animations Product names Logos Lore Gameplay systems Delivery systems Farming mechanics Security systems Leaderboards Merchant systems Purchasing a product grants permission to use it, it does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property. 6. Fair Play & Online Integrity To maintain fairness for all players, Cuddly Companions may: Verify product authenticity Validate harvest claims Prevent duplicate deliveries Detect exploit attempts Remove invalid rewards Reset compromised gameplay data Suspend access to online services Ban users who intentionally abuse the system These actions may occur automatically or manually where necessary. 7. Suspension of Online Services Cuddly Companions reserves the right to suspend or revoke access to online features for users who: Abuse gameplay systems Attempt fraud Manipulate APIs Circumvent protections Distribute modified products Repeatedly violate these Terms 8. Platform Limitations Cuddly Companions is not responsible for losses resulting from: Second Life outages Linden Lab maintenance Region rollbacks Inventory loss User error Internet outages Hosting provider outages Discord outages Temporary API interruptions Delayed deliveries caused by external services Reasonable efforts will always be made to restore services where possible. 9. Support Support is provided on a best-effort basis. Support is available through: In-world IM to Cally (awsomeaussie) Notecards Official Discord Support is intended to resolve genuine issues and maintain a fair experience for all users. 10. Changes to the Service Because Cuddly Companions is a live online service, products, APIs, gameplay systems, websites, and online features may evolve over time. The latest published Terms of Service always replace previous versions. 11. Agreement By purchasing, owning, using, trading, gifting or interacting with any Cuddly Companions product or online service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service. Cuddly Companions Privacy Policy Version 3.0 · Updated July 2026 What Data We Collect To provide gameplay and online services, Cuddly Companions may collect limited information including: Avatar UUID Avatar display name Product ownership information Harvest activity Reward history Claim identifiers Leaderboard statistics Gameplay timestamps Merchant transactions Ban status Security verification information Product version information No real-world personal information is intentionally collected. How Data Is Used Collected information is used solely for: Gameplay Deliveries Leaderboards Monthly competitions Security Anti-duplication Fraud prevention Customer support Merchant transactions Website functionality System administration Bug investigation Information is never sold to advertisers. No behavioural profiling or advertising is performed. Website & API Services Official Cuddly Companions web services may temporarily store gameplay information necessary to operate features including: Farm harvests Pending deliveries Delivery confirmations Leaderboards Customer records Merchant activity Ban lists Administrative tools Security logs Data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for gameplay, support, security, or legal compliance. Discord Logging Some systems may send limited information to official Discord logging channels. This may include: Avatar display name Product involved Harvest information Administrative actions Error reporting Delivery events Time of action The following are never transmitted: IP addresses Real-world identity Email addresses Payment information Private chat logs Passwords Third-Party Services Cuddly Companions currently relies on third-party services including: Second Life (Linden Lab) Discord Cloud hosting providers Website hosting providers These providers maintain their own privacy policies. Data Security Reasonable measures are used to protect gameplay information, including: UUID validation Creator verification Secure HTTP communications where available Server-side validation Anti-duplication systems Administrative access controls Logging of security events No internet-connected service can be guaranteed completely secure. Your Rights You may request: Removal from leaderboards Review of account restrictions Removal from ban lists (where appropriate) Correction of inaccurate customer information Requests should be submitted in-world or through official support channels.
